What did you do at your internship?
At CGM, I researched and wrote a lesson plan on women in the logging industry during World War II for educators and parents to download off the museum’s website. This is the museum’s first ever educational resource and is being offered to kick off the education department.
What is your biggest takeaway from your internship?
My biggest takeaway from this internship was learning how to write educational resources for a wide age range, rather than just high school or college.
How is this internship connected to your career goals and/or future aspirations?
I am looking for a career working in museums, specifically museum education so this internship was a perfect fit.
