What did you do at your internship?
My responsibilities as a Legal Assistant were to fill client profiles and USCIS immigration forms from information we gathered from clients during consultations. I also sat in on consultations and took notes, as well as completed follow up appointments with clients.
What is your biggest takeaway from your internship?
My biggest takeaway from my internship was that its okay and very beneficial to constantly be asking questions from your supervisors. My supervisors are suppose to help and they understood that what I was doing
takes time to figure out, and is very complicated.
How is this internship connected to your career goals and/or future aspirations?
This internship is directly connected to my future goals because I hope to work in immigration law, and become a DOJ accredited representative in the future.
